LINKEDIN SKYROCKETS AS JOB LOSSES MOUNT
In these rocky financial times managers and executives are realising more than ever that keeping their network up to date is a significant way of ensuring that they are well positioned for new opportunities. Good news for Linkedin which last monday announced it had hit the 36 million member mark. According to comscore the professional social network has grown from 3.6 million unique monthly visitors a year ago, to 7.7 million today.

Linkedin is closely linked to both job seekers and employers and the question remains whether Linkedin can continue to thrive as jobs dry up while those on the look out continue to rise. Growth worries is something Linkedin say they are not worried about. The firm is profitable and CEO Reid Hoffman recently told TechCrunch that 80% of its $ 100 million investment is still in the bank.
